Currently, I’m the Security Architect for the Conjur team at CyberArk, working with a team of great engineers to secure application access to passwords and other secrets. My role includes dependency management, security scanning, threat modeling, working with my teams to design secure functionality, and generally raising the bar for security across my org.
When I’m not making software, I enjoy logic puzzles, reading both non-fiction and fiction (particularly speculative fiction), playing tabletop games, taking photos, and helping my wonderful wife, Heather Tinkham. You can find my photos and at https://geekymonkey.photos. I recently joined Mastodon too and right now, that’s the best place to interact with me.
This site is intended to collect content I publish across the Internet and serve as a central point for people to find out more about me. It’s sadly gotten a little dated, but I’ll be working on refreshing it in the coming months! Welcome![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″]

QA Practice ManagerAUG 2015 - PRESENTC2 IT Solutions
At C2, my responsibility is to build out the practice that I’d want to work in. This involves a mix of duties – working with our clients to help them identify the appropriate strategies for their needs and contexts and get the information they need about the quality of their systems, supporting our consultants so we all can grow and drive needed change in the industry, sharing the knowledge I’ve gained and the thoughts I’ve had with the broader testing community, and supporting our sales and recruiting efforts.

I help companies build better software. I work with teams to improve processes, to intelligently build and use automation in their testing efforts, and to deliver solutions that meet their customers’ needs. At Magenic, I mentor members of the QA practice, deliver internal and external training, evangelize good testing practices (and the contexts they make sense in), help with sales, and help provide technical guidance to the overall organization. I make things happen.
